Christmas

Christmas was a blast this year! We had so much fun, I just can't believe it's over! Christmas eve my parents came over and we had a christmas eve dinner, made cookies for Santa, which reminds me, I need to get those cookie cutters back to my sister, and watched Mr. Krueger's Christmas, I also read the kids a christmas story, they opened up their pj's, and then went to bed, with visions of sugar plumbs dancing in their little heads.

Christmas morning Mike and Mckay woke up at 7:00 and went upstairs and woke up Hunter and Chris, and then waited until 7:30 to wake us up, but I heard them before they came into wake us up, cause I couldn't wait, I was so excited! Then we went downstairs to open presents, Mckinzie got a Guitar, Clothes, shoes, perfume, and makeup. Mckay got a new cel phone, cologn, Halo figurines, coat, skateboard, clothes, and new church shoes. Lauren got clothes, shoes, a new cel phone, a digital camera, and printer. Mike got roller blades, a Jordan coat that justin bought in Chicago, a football, clothes, a sleigh and an Ipod. Chris got clothes, shoes, a football, a bunch of Mini guys, a skateboard, and a sleigh. Hunter got clothes, a green and black football, shoes, Mini guys, a skateboard, a Jordan coat from Chicago and a sleigh. Justin got Steelers slippers, golf bag, jacket, hat. and a game called swashbuckled signed by the man who invented the game, his brothers and dad liked it so much they had us buy them one after christmas. I got a Juicy hat and scarf, and a sweater from Chicago, and a bunch of clothes, perfume, and bedding.

Then when we went to grandma Heugly's house she gave the little boys each their own Duffle bag red/black (team colors) a football, basketball, a red water bottle, and a shirt. Mckay got a Trip to Sun Valley and some drafting paper. Mckinzie and Lauren got Pj's and a sleepover at grandma's with their friends, and a 15.00 gift card for I-tunes & Mckay got that too. Justin got 300.00 from his dad, a framed pic. of the Chicago trip, a Polo shirt, a Steelers Pancho. I got a Cool red bag and a shopping spree with the girls and Sue. (I can't wait) last year it was so much fun!! We loved everything. Sue, also made us all dinner, and it was delicious!!

We went to my mom's house for a christmas party, we acted out the nativity, while my dad read the story from the scriptures. Then Samuel (my nephew Oakley) stood on the wall and we threw things at him. it was funny cause non of them hit him. And then he threw them back! We got lots of things, but the thing that meant the very most was a book about the Child family, which is my mom's maiden name, I haven't been able to stop reading it, it shows how our family was in France, and then England, and then to the United states, and it tells their story, it is awesome!

Then for New Years eve we threw a party at our house, Joe's family, Ethan's Family and Mark and Sue came. We had a blast, we ate, and ate, and ate, we watched a movie, and played rockband. When the New Year Came, we lit fireworks, and Yelled and screamed, it was a ton of fun!!

Needless to say we had a great Christmas. We are so grateful for everything we have been blessed with, and it has been so much fun to be able to give to those people who needed our help this year. We haven't been able to do that very much in the past, and it was truly a blessing for us to have the opportunity. That is what it's all about!
